Shasta graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1995 with a degree in speech and communications. In 1996, Shasta obtained her paralegal certificate from the Minnesota Paralegal Institute. In 2013, Shasta was inducted into the Gustavus Adolphus Hall of Fame for Gymnastics and in 2019, was inducted into the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Hall of Fame. When I talk with people in the lobby a lot of times they ask me what I do. When I say Marketing Director they usually look a little puzzled. Maybe wondering about why we are having a face to face conversation in the lobby or sitting in on a closing together? When I started answering “Client Services” it seemed to make a connection. It ties directly in with our Client Care program for 2019 and seems to be more relatable to our clients and prospects. It really means relationship management.

Jennifer served in the US Navy aboard the USS Emory S. Land, a Submarine Tender homeported in Norfolk, VA. After training in Florida, California and Illinois, she joined the ship on its deployment where it was anchored at a remote site off the coast of Oman. The Vessel tended combatant ships on missions within the Persian Gulf. Her fun fact; she participated in the Navy’s traditional Line Crossing Ceremony and can officially claim herself as a Shellback.

With various experience on all sides of the Closing process, Jennifer enjoys working behind the scenes playing a role from the beginning, middle and end of each file.

Katie joins Watermark Title with 21 years of real estate title experience. Through her title career she has worked in both the Closing field as a Senior Closing Coordinator and in the Production field working in the recording and claims departments.
She has experience in drafting and proofing documents for accuracy, submitting documents to the respective counties for recording, and resolving outstanding title issues. Katie prides herself on her attention to detail and her strong organization skills. She is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.

Annie is an attorney (J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law) and has over 15 years of experience in the Title Insurance Industry. Throughout those years, Annie has gained experience in multiple areas with particular emphasis in New Construction, Claims, and Title Examination.
As a self-proclaimed “Title Geek,” Annie is dedicated to problem solving and providing exceptional customer service to ensure that every closing at Watermark Title is a success.
Charlie is an attorney (J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School) with over twenty years of experience in title examination. In that time he has completed tens of thousands of title exams, and for eleven of those years he managed a title insurance agency.
Charlie brings to Watermark an extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of title production and customer relations. His goal at Watermark is to continue to provide positive, high-quality service to both closers and customers alike.
Kris has been in the title insurance industry for over 20 years. With experience ranging from production to final policies she brings a unique and extensive knowledge base to Watermark Title. She has experience in opening orders, examining and preparing commitments, clearing title work both locally and nationally, proofing documents for recording, and preparing and issuing final policies. She spent three years as a trainer with the sole responsibility of training employees how to clear title. This comprehensive understanding of the closing process allows her to provide an exceptional level of customer service to Watermark clients.
One of the things she enjoys most about the title insurance industry is that every file is different and unique which makes every day different and unique. She enjoys and takes every opportunity to learn and one of her greatest strengths is her “bring it on” attitude.
Peggy brings over 30 years of experience in the industry to Watermark Title. In addition to years of performing countless title examinations, she has also acted as the manager of several title insurance agencies and has practiced real estate law (J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law).
